The problem with moving around so much is that I forget things.
Sometimes I forget what town I'm in, sometimes I forget where I
parked the bike and occassionally I forget what day of the week it
is. That's exactly what happened when I arrived in Troon, ready for
Windfest and was informed it was Thursday, not Friday as I had
banked on.
Having an extra day up my sleeve gave me the chance to try a new
kind of decision poll. So instead of voting on where I go next I
let people vote what kind of food and drink I consumed for the next
24 hours. What made it a challenge was the it all had to begin with
the letter W.
I got inspiration from people's comments on facebook and went to
the supermarket to suss out my options. Why don't they
arrange food alphabetically in store? It would have made my
life so much easier. I ended up with an array of goods and my menu
went as follows:
Breakfast: Watermelon, Weetabix and Walnut
yoghurt
Lunch: Wedges and Waffles
Dinner: Wensleydale cheese and Wholemeal
crackers with Wine
Dessert: Wispa bar icecream
The guys (T.J, Tony and Kieran) who camped next to me at
Windfest were there to promote the outdoor store Blacks
and they bought me a load of W goods as you can see here, including a can of Winalot dog food!
Luckily I wasn't hungry enough to open the tin but it was a kind
gesture of the lads.
